Creating handspun color gradient yarns is my current obsession! I use a blending board to create a series of art batts with my own hand dyed fibers, and vary the colors slightly with each batt, to make a unique and texture-filled, one of a kind color gradient art yarn! This skein is single ply, light bulky weight, and generally trends from midnight purple, royal blues, silvery sage greens. Fiber blend is everything! multiple kinds of wool, mohair, alpaca, angora, silk, bamboo, sari silk, eucalyptus fiber and probably more. 232 yards. this is a large gorgeous skein and is perfect for your weaving, crochet, knitting, basketry or any other fiber arts project.
Often these yarns are completely one of a kind, but occasionally I might have doubles, or may be able to custom-spin larger amounts if you need. Please convo me if you have any questions or requests. These yarns are spun in my home; I do my absolute best to keep my felines out of the fiber, but please do be aware that these yarns are created in a pet-friendly home. After they are spun, tagged, photographed and listed, they "live" in my home studio until sold, and I do occasionally burn incense in my home - most people find this pleasant but if you think this might be objectionable, you have been warned :) .
