Salt and Pepper Lincoln Lambswool Lockspun Art Yarn, Bulky Single Ply
from $22.00
This is a soft, gorgeous lambswool fleece yarn from woman-owned Chaotic farm in the midwest . I washed and picked these locks myself, then spun them into this gorgeous yarn. I have spun HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of pounds of Lincoln wool and never seen a fleece with such a beautiful lock coloration - white at the base and black at the tips! it’s soft and lovely, and comes from a lamb named Daisy. I will not have any more of this so get what you want *now*.
Single ply, bulky weight. Perfect as is, to add texture and pop to any project! It also works well for weaving or felting, and makes great doll hair! I have spun and knit with lots of this Lincoln locks yarn, so if you want pattern ideas or suggestions, simply convo me!
Often these yarns are completely one of a kind, but occasionally I might have doubles, or may be able to custom-spin larger amounts if you need. Please convo me if you have any questions or requests. These yarns are spun in my home; I do my absolute best to keep my felines and house bunny out of the fiber, but please do be aware that these yarns are created in an pet-friendly home. After they are spun, tagged, photographed and listed on etsy, they "live" in my herb shop until they are sold, so they DO smell pleasantly of herbs - most people find this pleasant but if you think this might be objectionable, you have been warned :) .
