Family-farm raised Merino wool from Chariton, Iowa. I washed and dyed this fleece in commercial grade acid dyes . The tips took the color darker, which gives very cool effects when crafting/spinning! Sold per oz.
This is a very soft fleece, crimpy and bouncy. Will felt! Wonderful for all kinds of crafts, spinning, use in your blending board or drum carder. These sheep are pasture raised and not coated so you may find some small pieces of vm, but overall this is beautifully clean wool. Staple length 2.5-3 inches, unstretched.
I do have cats and the fibers are stored in my home, where I do burn incense. Please purchase accordingly.
