I recently bought my first Finnsheep fleece online and when it arrived in the mail I IMMEDIATELY messaged the shepherdess and asked her to buy all she had left. I loved it that much! Spinning this has quickly become my "comfort spin" project - I spin it raw, it's so clean and lovely and dreamy. It wants to spin finer than my usual super chunky style too, which is fun and interesting.
This yarn is silky, lustrous, light, airy, and VERY soft. This bit of fleece is a dark grey/black that I separated out, with some beautiful sunburnt tips making lush tan curls for accent. Dreamy for weaving, felting, knitting, crochet, any project you can dream up. Definitely suitable for next to skin projects if that's your thing!
